Welcome to restaurant Ses Boques, a beautiful hidden and authentic chiringuito on the south coast of Ibiza. Close to the small town Es Cubells you will find this intimate bay where we serve fresh and delicious (sea)food.

The fresh seafood, salads and paella are made following 40 year old recipes by our Ses Boques family. On the wooden terraces between the pine trees you’ll have a relaxt and atmospheric lunch or dinner. Come and enjoy!

Joan Ribas (Portmany) and his wife Lourdes Tur started with Joan Ribas sr. with Ses Boques in (year). Their passion  for food & hospitality were the perfect ingredients to start a chriringuito on Ibiza. In the small bay near Es Cubells they felt the atmosphere they wanted to express to their guests. They should feel welcome, be able to relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends. As soon as Ses Boques was born the rumor spreader the word without promoting the venue.

Nowadays its a favorite spot for local people of the island and for lots of tourists. In the family everyone has their specialty, father Joan Ribas is the chef of the restaurant and famous for his delicious sea food plates and paella. Lourdes is known for her delicious sweet pastrys to enjoy after your lunch or dinner. Son Joan is serving the food making sure all the guests enjoy the food & service in Ses Boques.

Ses Boques works with the finest and most fresh ingredients of the island. Everyday we visit the local market for the recently caught fish. The foods mainly comes from Ibiza. Because of our passion for fresh and local ingredients we are able to serve you the best quality.

One of our specialties is the roasted fish in salt crust. Because it is heated slowly in our oven with the salt of Ibiza the flavors of the fish will be shown to its full advantage. New this year is the calamaris in salt crust. Buen provecho!

The idyllic restaurant Ses Boques is hidden from the crowd and situated in a quite bay on the south coast of the island. Our venue is perfect for weddings, celebrations or special occasions. Restaurant Ses Boques is situated at one of the most beautiful places of the island where you can still feel the authentic atmosphere and where you can enjoy delicious fresh food. Just drive to the church in Es Cubells and follow the signs down to the road with an astonishing view over the bay. After 1 km you will see a sign on your left with a steep road that will lead you down to our parking.
